Worship
Worship is at the heart of all we do at Riverside Community Church. Our Sunday morning service includes an extended time of praise and worship as well as a relevant, life-related message from God's word. But we believe that ALL that a believer does during the week as well as on Sunday should be for God's glory and seen as an act of worship.
Worship is a verb: it is something we do, not something we watch or something that is limited to musicians. Worship is the believer’s response to who God is and what He has done for us. We were created to worship Him!
We enjoy a relaxed style of contemporary Christian music in our worship services. We are normally aided in our worship by a praise band and several vocalists. What is important, however, is the heart of the worshipper, not the style of the music or expertise of the musician.
You will enjoy the worship at Riverside! Come join us from 9:45 to 11:15 every Sunday. The first part of the service is designed for corporate worship and prayer. We then have a 10 minute break for fellowship while the children go to age-specific classes for the rest of the service. A nursery for the youngest children is provided throughout the worship service.
