In this chapter, God personally reveals Himself to Jacob, as “the God of Abraham and Isaac.” Eventually, God will introduce Himself as “the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” Genesis 28 is the beginning of Jacob’s journey in faith. There is much to learn from this chapter about the difference between other religions and Christianity.
