One of God’s primary calls for us as Christians is to obey Him. Obedience is not always easy and often involves sacrifice but God promises to work in and with us so that we grow to desire obedience. To help us, Paul gives a few examples of people living lives of obedience and sacrifice in their ministry to others so that we can learn to follow their examples in our lives.
