We all need food to live but what if there was food that we could eat that would truly satisfy us and give us eternal life? In John 6, Jesus calls Himself the “bread of life” and teaches what He means by that. Jesus uses the background of the Exodus, Passover, and manna (“bread from heaven”) to points out how He can give eternal life to those who trust in Him.
