Harvest Dinner
The Harvest Dinner will be on Sunday, Oct. 6th. This is a great time of intergenerational fellowship in the homes of Riverside families. All participants are divided into groups to meet together at the hosts’ homes. Everyone attending contributes to the meal. Host homes will provide a place to gather, will plan the menu and coordinate time and other details with your assigned group. Please contact Victoria Zimmerman for more info.
Fusion Fall Retreat
The Fusion Youth Group will be heading to WI for their annual Fall Retreat. This year’s topic is “Truly Free” based on John 8:31-32. All students 6th -12th grade and their friends are invited to attend. Today is the last day to register. See pastor Dan for more info.
Parenting
We have two opportunities for biblical parenting instruction coming up.
First is a one-night event for women only, called Practical Parenting. It will include useful tools to put in place right away. This night will be Sept 17.
Second is the actual Parenting Class led by Pastor Paul & Debra. It is eighteen weeks of in-depth, purposeful instruction that builds a solid foundation for biblical parenting, setting man and wife on the same page with the same biblical goals. It begins on Sept 27. You will find registration for each event on Church Center.
